uvex ride for kids

The uvex group organized the bike event at the Fürth site in aid of the Rainer Winter Foundation.

In order to donate, people had to cycle to work, as the uvex group donated 1 euro for each kilometer they cycled. The CJD received the final amount for the Hans Georg Karg day care center in Nuremberg

Hans-Sachs-Grundschule Fürth

Hans Sachs Primary School, an educational establishment in the heart of Fürth, is characterized above all by its dedication to the integrated development of its pupils.
We support some of the Hans Sachs elementary school's projects, such as the "redesign of the recess areas" and the "green classroom".

I have made it my mission to help needy, ill and handicapped children and young people all over the world quickly and unbureaucratically.

The Rainer Winter Stiftung

The Rainer Winter Foundation is a public foundation under civil law based in Fürth and was founded in 1980 by Rainer Winter with the approval of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior. The foundation's capital currently amounts to 550,000 euros.

Since then, its selfless and exclusive purpose has been to support needy, sick and handicapped children and young people at home and abroad - unbureaucratically, directly and unselfishly.

The foundation's work focuses on the Nuremberg metropolitan region. The Rainer Winter Foundation does not have to bear any administrative costs. 100% of the donations go to children in need.

Since its establishment in 1980, the Rainer Winter Foundation has donated over 4.2 million euros to disadvantaged children. The foundation is particularly supported by the shareholder family, employees and partners of the uvex group.

Statutes (german only)

The selfless and exclusive purpose of the Rainer Winter Foundation is to provide unbureaucratic financial support to needy, sick and handicapped children and young people at home and abroad. This is done, among other things, through

  • one-off donations on special occasions (e.g. in the event of disasters)
  • Sponsorships
  • donations to organizations that directly support children and young people in need, etc.

100% of the donations are used for the respective purpose. The uvex group bears all administrative costs.

The foundation's governing bodies are the foundation chairwoman Gabriele Grau and five advisory boards. All foundation bodies operate on a voluntary basis. The foundation is subject to the government supervision of the Regional Government of Middle Franconia and the Tax Office of Fürth.
